Milt Stevens is an Associate Artist at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.

All four members of the NSO trombone section teach at U of MD:

Milt Stevens, Jim Kraft, John Huling, Matt Guilford

In addition to trombone teaching, Milt also conducts the U of MD Brass Ensemble.
He is also a member of the "Maryland Brass", a faculty brass quintet comprised of:

Chris Gekker and Steve Hendrickson (trumpets), Gregory Miller (horn), Milton
Stevens (trombone), and Matthew Guilford (bass trombone).
Other brass faculty include Martin Hackleman (horn) and Toby Hanks (tuba).
