The Washington Symphonic
Brass
Milton Stevens, Conductor
will perform a
concert at Harmony Hall in Ft. Washington, MD, on Sunday, April
7, 2002 at
3:00 p.m. General Admission is $3.00.
Martin Hackleman, Principal
Horn of the National Symphony Orchestra, will
perform the Eugene Bozza "En Foret", arranged for brass
ensemble by Phil
Snedecor.
David Brown, tuba player with the U. S. Army Band, will perform
the Jan
Koetsier "Don Giovanni's Ride to Hell".
Other works include an
arousing arrangement of the "Arrival of the Queen of
Sheba" by Handel, the entire Bach "Brandenburg Concerto
No. 3, the Blues
March by Ray Premru, and a hilarious spoof on the "Carnival
of Venice".

Hall from the Beltway (I 95/495):
Take Rt. 210 (the Indian Head Highway) South for ca. 4 - 5 miles.
Ignore
signs for Livingston Road during this stretch of road. Turn right
on Ft.
Washington Road. At the traffic light, turn right on Livingston
Road.
Harmony Hall is about 300 yards on the left.
